Long overdue,

Happy Holidays to everyone and all the Best in the New Year.

I would like to thank the Corporations and Families that chose us to fulfill their catering needs, and patronizing us at Festivals.

2015 started out with the spring PSU Altoona Arts Festival and concluded with fall Apple Cider Festival at Glendale Lake, with our best year of catering in between,   so much that with other commitments and circumstances we where unable to do any
Parking Lot BBQ's in Ebensburg or Cresson.  I do miss that, it is the best way to promote, and bring our BBQ to the public and see many friends.

2016 may bring some changes, I am looking into, working togeather with a local catering business
to provide our product for them as well as keeping our current catering plans moving forward.
Nothing set in stone, have to work out some details.

The past 6 years flew by so fast,  Lessons learned,  Friends made, Happy customers,
Continued patronage,  And always seving Great BBQ.

Thank you,
Gary

July 10th 2013

Parking lot BBQ , New sites , Happy faces.
Aside from being at Sears in Ebensburg, we visited two new sites, In Cresson at the Old Dollar General Store, along Old Rt.22. and just this past weekend in Patton across from Sheetz at a temporarily closed Ice Cream stand.
Happy to say these sites exceeding our expectations, thanks to the property owners, communities and passer bys who stopped and supported us.
With different locations I have noticed different trends of what people purchase, some places not so many Sandwiches, or a lot of Chicken and Ribs, or a combination of all, just goes to show you can never figure out this business.
Catering and Event dates are filling in nicely for the rest of the season, still have time and dates to inquire for your special occasion.

Hope to serve you soon,
Gary

We got our 2013 Parking Lot BBQ season started on May 3rd and 4th in Ebensburg at Sears Plaza with good weather and nice crowds, nice to see familiar faces and friends.
Happy to announce we got permission to sell our BBQ in Cresson at the old Dollar General store, we hope to get there soon as well as returning back to Ebensburg, and still looking for a location in the Altoona area.
We will be at The Blair County Arts Festival on May 18th and 19th,  Penn State Altoona,  if you are in the area stop by , it is a very nice event.
I will try to keep everyone updated on the Upcoming Events section when we will be available to the public.
Remember us for your Catering needs, Graduations, Birthdays, Family reunions, Corporate events or any Special occasion..

Thanks for looking in, Hope to serve you soon.

We finished of our 2012 Barbeque season with a very nice Catering event on probably the nicest day of October, a few weeks prior we where at the Apple Cider Festival at Prince Gallitzin, with much better turnout and better weather than last year. also nice to have a lot of my Family there, even tough critics from California !!!

At 3 years in I'm pleased to say there is growth in some areas,
that being said,  I personally want to thank all the folks who stopped by while we where Roadside or at a Festival, and especially thank the Individuals and Corporations who selected us for their Catering needs.

Looking forward to serving you better in 2013
Thank you for your past support
See you in the Spring.

After a mild winter and a spring that would not cooperate, we got the smoke rolling in Ebensburg, Sears Plaza, on Apr.30 and Mar. 01 a Mon. and Tues..
To our surprise, being early in the week and first time back, we where pleased with the outcome. We offered a new sandwich, The Smokestack Burrito, to go along with the Southern Polock, and traditional pulled pork sandwich.. Don't be afraid to give either a try !!

We are also pleased to announce a new Altoona site, at Grandview Meats along Pleasant Valley Blvd.. our first visit was on May 4-5, with no real advertising ,only word of mouth, the weekend showed a solid promise for this location.

We plan to alternate between the two, and mix in catering and events as well..
I will try to keep up to date with date listings on the right of the page.

At either roadside location you can expect lunch to be ready at 11 am, ribs may be a little later,
closing time is always a question, at least to 4 pm is safe, as you should know BBQ is not made to order, it takes time..  And I will try my best for you to enjoy it !!

Thanks,  Gary

Wed. Oct. 5, 2011

We finished off our vending and event season with the Apple Cider Festival this past Sunday, I must say it ended the way it started, Cold, Rain, and even snow in the air. Thanks to all who braved the inclement weather.

I am happy to say, our Catering has increased, which was my goal from the beginning, but on the down side the weather and date availability left us short on public outings.

As always I want to thank all who have patronized us in the past, I have noticed many familiar faces this year.
And I welcome any comments, The Good,The Bad, The BBQ'ed..

Thanks again
See you in the Spring 2012

Gary.

Back to back weekends a success !
We where in Ebensburg on June 10-11 and 17 -18, while I was skeptical about being back to back , you our customers, followers proved me wrong. I thank you all who stopped by and enjoyed our Barbeque. We had a little issue with the weather on the first Friday evening, thanks to all who helped us ride the storm out. But the other days we enjoyed great weather. It is always nice to see return customers and familiar faces. I have a question for you , is there enough demand to be in town for a Fri, Sat, Sun, ?? Let me know.
We plan to be back in Ebensburg on July 15-16
We will be in Colver for There Centennial on July 2-3 , if you can stop by and see us there.

Thanks for looking in,
Hope to serve you soon,
Gary
